12/13/09 - London wins Best of Opposite Sex at the 2009 AKC/Eukanuba National Championships. On her way to that great win she managed to go Best of Opp at the Los Encinos KC (12/10/09) and then Best of Breed at the Long Beach KC (12/11/09). A wonderful Weekend for London.

London will be our foundation bitch and we couldnt ask for a better one. London was born 1/29/07. She finished her championship at 11 1/2 months with 3 major wins. London's success has taken us to places we only imagined. By the time she was 2 1/2 years old she had won: 2007 MRC Best of Opposite Sex Futurity and Best in Sweeps; 2007 ARC Region II Best in Sweeps and Best of Winners (5 pt major); 2008 CRC Best in Sweeps; 2008 ARC Nationals Best of Opp Sweeps; 2008 NRC BOSS (day1), 2008 NRC BISS (day2); Made the cut at 2009 Westminster; 2009 ARC National TOP TWENTY WINNER, 2009 ARC Nationals Select Award.

If we have a clearly defined "pack-Leader" in our house it might have to be London. She loves to show. When she senses we are heading to a dog show she is waiting at the car door to go. In the ring she is on auto-pilot, at home she has the personality of a cat. She can often be found laying across the top of the couch backrest - just like a cat. She is frisky and playful but also independent. Her special bond is most certainly with Jan. Jan spoils her rotten! London is for sure a "one-in-a-million" Rottweiler and we are fortunate to have her. She started out as the 3rd pick "white" girl but has clearly become #1 in many ways!

We must thank and acknowledge the wonderful handlers who have presented London throughtout her career:

First Holley Eldred who finished London at the age of 11 1/2 months with 3 majors during that time.

Next is Julia Foster who has shown London at MRC, NRC and most recently at ARC Nationals to her Top 20 win and Select Award. Julia also handled London to her 2009 AKC/Eukanuba Best of Opp sex win and prior all-breed wins.

Also thanks to Jeni West who is currently showing London at local shows and also has shown her to many breed wins and group placement.

Thank you to Adam Peterson for selected weekend showing and presenting London at 2009 Westminster.

Without all these wonderful people in her life she would not be where she is today!
